13th December 2003 Windsurfing: Poole Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 25-30 mph Surf / Sea State: Flat / chop Air Temperature: 11 celsuis Sea Temperature: Weather: rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Had a case of the muppets today just couldn't do anything right sailing. Treated myself to a nice new set of footstraps while fitting them managed to break the end off my screwdriver! so much for buying an expencive one that won't round off footstrap screws Finaly got on the water after a trip to B&Q. Don't know why but things just wasn't right couldn't get comfortable. Everytime I went for the back strap the board would spin out and the lines would feel in the wrong place. I moved everything! fin back, lines back/ forward, boom up/ down, mast foot back forth, more/ less outhaul. Then the wind dropped off so decided to pack up Seanbo arrived as I was just loading car he didn't like the look of it either and disappead to the cafe for a coffee I had pig out session on all the food I had bought at tescos on the way to poole all the food finished decided to head home |
